When visiting in homes of friends and acquaintances, sometimes I saw clocks that weren’t running. “Would you like me to see if I can get that clock running for you?” I would ask. One day it dawned on me that maybe other folks in our community would like their clocks repaired. I put an ad in the paper and quickly began receiving service requests. When folks would ask me if their clock would run after I returned it to their home, I would answer, “Time Will Tell.” So began my Time Will Tell clock business of over twenty years.
I am often asked, “Did you go to some kind of school to learn this?” The answer is, “No.” I think I always loved clocks. As an elementary student I had boxes of old clocks and parts under my bed. The LORD has given me a high mechanical interest and ability, so as I worked on clocks from my youth, I learned what makes them tick. Twenty years of professional service and repair experience later, I still enjoy working on clocks!
